Privacy Policy
BizHarvest is a browser extension that extracts publicly visible business information from the Yelp results and business pages you are viewing and lets you export it as a CSV, Excel, or JSON file.
What we collect
Your extracted data stays yours. BizHarvest has no analytics and no tracking. The business data you extract and your browsing activity are never collected, sold, or shared. The only data that ever leaves your device is your license key and a randomly generated device identifier, sent only when you activate a paid license and only to validate it — details below.
How your data is handled
- All extraction and export happens locally in your browser.
- Extracted business data is held in the extension only for the duration of your session and is written to a file only when you click export. It is never sent anywhere.
- The only outbound network request the extension makes is to validate your license key when you activate a paid license, via our own endpoint, which forwards it to our merchant of record Creem. That request contains your license key and a randomly generated device identifier — no browsing data and no extracted data. See Creem's privacy policy.
Permissions
- Host access to yelp.com — to read the business listings on the Yelp search and business pages you are actively viewing.
- storage — to remember your license activation state on your device.
- activeTab / scripting / sidePanel — to run the tool's interface and read the current Yelp tab when you start an extraction.
We request no other host access and never read pages outside Yelp.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
